From very small beginnings the Company has grown into a leading organisation in the field of Interior Contracts and Furnishing with one of the best equipped manufacturing facilities for woodwork. The brief history of initial formative years is given below:

1975

I.T.C. Ltd plans major diversifi cation into Hotels. Anil Dhingra appointed Manager, Interior Design Works to set-up and run Furniture/Wood working unit for departmental execution of Interiors and Furniture of the Mughal Sheraton at Agra. Workshop set up with latest plant & machinery at the Maurya Sheraton site at Diplomatic Enclave, New Delhi

1976

Completed the entire Wooden Furniture, False Ceiling, Door/Window joinery & entire Interior work for 200 Guest Rooms, Lobby/Lounge, 3 Restaurants, 2 Suites and Service Areas for Mughal Sheraton in record time of 5 months

1977

Work started on Maurya Sheraton — 300 Guest Rooms, 6 Luxury Suites, 4 — Restaurants, Discotheque, Service Areas.

1978

Maurya Sheraton work completed and Hotel made operational. The interior work is very much appreciated especially the time and cost saving these eff ected earns accolades from I.T.C. Management

1979

I.T.C. not permitted to construct and own any more Hotels – further projects not forthcoming. As a token of appreciation of the hardwork put in and results achieved I.T.C. Hotels Division Board proposes that the Interior Design Department workshop with its infrastructure be handed over to Anil Dhingra on easy book value terms and all help extended to set up independent business. Separate business (in the name and style of DECOR – later changed to DECOR INDIA PVT. LTD.) commenced with the same skilled team of workers, craftsman plant and machinery. Orders for Holiday Inn, Banjara, Travel Corporation, Taj Man Singh etc. received and executed successfully.

1980-1985

Reputation for quality and dependability established for interior projects. Worked for Welcome Group, Taj Group, Ashok Group, Citi Bank & several leading Corporate Offices.

1986

New fully equipped factory workshop established at NOIDA. Prestigious contract for Corporate Offi ce/ Chairman’s offi ce & Board Room Floor executed for INDIAN OIL CORPORATION designed by Rajinder Kumar Architect for Rs. 108 lacs.

1987-1990

More prestigious Corporate offi ces executed for Hewlett Packard, MMTC, GAIL, STC etc

1990-1991

Workshop expanded and moved to new 2555 Sqm. Industrial Plot at NOIDA and more modernisation and equipment introduced.

1991-1999

Electrical Seasoning Kiln installed in Factory and Offi ce procedures, Billing Computerised. More prestigious works executed successfully for ANZ GRINDLAYS, B.P.C.L., PHOENIX, INDIA HABITAT CENTRE, ERICSSON, NESTLE INDIA LTD, I.F.C.I., TIMES BANK, SHELL, ICICI, DSE, CONCORDE, REGENCY, PRO-AGRO, BECHTEL, SHELL etc. Turnover crosses 625 lacs in 1998.

1999-2001

Multi Crore contracts executed for ICICI (Rs 325 lacs) and Delhi Stock Exchange (350 lacs) executed in which approx Rs. 200 lacs were the Civil Work component consisting of additional fl oors, additional/ alterations.

2001-2003

Expanded & diversifi ed into Modular Furniture and environment friendly materials like MFD and Pre-Laminated Particle Board, Machinery for Post Forming, Panel Scoring Saw Moulding etc. installed. Contracts for Standard Chartered, HDFC Bank, HSBC Bank, Citi Bank, IIT, Modular Furniture at Shastri Bhawan, Krishi Bhawan & Nirman Bhawan, Bharat Hotels/SUBROS Group undertaken. Pre-qualifi ed for multi crore projects for Parliament Library, SBI, SAIL, Power Grid Corporation etc. but lost out the tenders on price/rate considerations.

2003-2006

Successfully completed for Subros, Rohan Motors, Cyber Park, Fortune Global Hotel, Unitech Club, Bharat Hotels, FIEO, ANSALS, JUBILANT.
IMPORTANT

2006-2009/10

Marriot Hotel, Crown Plaza-Okhla, Jaypee Greens – Sun Court, Earth Court, Sea Court, etc. Completed. Landed, Rs 18 Crores New Delhi Convention Centre for NDMC which was a landmark for the company being its largest single contract in its history.

2009-2013

Completed New Delhi Convention Centre design by Ar Kuldip Singh and Ar Raja Aedheri completd cost approx 20cr. Work included Audio Visual/Sound Reinforcement, Escalators, Structural work alongwith the Interior Work and Furnishing.

2013-2016

Forayed into large scale projects in Healthcare with interiors of Jaypee Medical Center, Completed design led- civil and interior Trunkey project of AnantRaj Group and undertook relocation of offices large scale external development/Hardscaping works for Jubilant Bhartia Group, Noida.
Started a project specific production line for wardrobes and Kitchens and executed wardrobe works for Queens Court, DLF

2016-2018

Undertook the turnkey project of the Flagship stores for Sabyasachi Couture, New Delhi and Kolkata. Undertook Mass production Project kitchens for IOCL township, NOIDA averaging of 1 kitchen installation every 2 days.

2018-Till Date

Started Furniture production as a separate centre of excellence with furniture only projects. Concentrating on bespoke furniture designed inhouse,
Completed the Pvt Residence of Indian couture designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
